Real Madrid Clinch Narrow Champions League Victory Against Braga

Jude Bellingham

Jude Bellingham continued his impressive season with yet another goal, contributing to Real Madrid’s slender Champions League win over Braga. Following Rodrygo’s first-half opener, Bellingham showcased his skills with a superb, curling finish into the bottom corner in the 61st minute. The English midfielder has now amassed an impressive tally of 12 goals in 15 matches for both club and country this season.

Despite Braga’s Alvaro Djalo pulling a goal back, Real Madrid managed to secure the victory in Group C. Vinicius Junior thought he had added a third late in the game, but his goal was disallowed for offside.

Rodrygo also had a first-half effort disallowed as Real Madrid dominated chances at Estadio Municipal de Braga. The match concluded with a bit of tension as Real Madrid’s Antonio Rudiger, involved in an incident with some Braga players, was escorted off the pitch by teammates.

With a perfect nine points from their first three matches, the record 14-time winners now lead the group. Carlo Ancelotti’s side holds a three-point lead over second-placed Napoli, who secured a 1-0 victory over winless Union Berlin on Tuesday.
