Otto Addo Confident of Victory in Sudan Rematch.

Ghana’s head coach, Otto Addo, has assured Ghanaians that the Black Stars will bounce back stronger in their upcoming rematch against Sudan.

“Sudan was lucky today, I must say,” Addo acknowledged, referring to the goalless draw in Accra. “But we’re going to beat them away.”

Addo expressed confidence in his team’s determination, focus, and creativity. “With the same determination, the same focus, and the same creativity, we’re going to beat them away,” he emphasized.

The Black Stars’ coach is optimistic about Ghana’s chances in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. Despite the disappointing draw at home, Addo believes his team has the talent and resilience to secure a vital away win.

“We created enough chances to win the game, but unfortunately, we couldn’t capitalize on them,” Addo reflected. “However, I’m proud of the team’s performance and spirit.”

The second leg of the qualifier is scheduled to take place in Libya on October 16. Ghana will face Sudan in a crucial away match that could determine their fate in the qualifying campaign.

Addo is aware of the challenges that come with playing away from home but remains confident in his team’s ability to adapt.

“We’re prepared for the difficult conditions and opposition we’ll face in Libya,” Addo said. “We’ll work on our strategy and tactics to ensure we secure the desired result.”

Ghana’s players share Addo’s optimism, with several key players expressing their determination to make amends for the home draw.

“We’re focused on getting the three points in Libya,” said Kudus Mohammed, Ghana’s midfielder and captain of yesterday’s game. “We know it won’t be easy, but we’re ready for the challenge.”

With the Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign heating up, Ghana’s rematch against Sudan takes on added significance.

A win for Ghana would revitalize their qualifying hopes, while a loss could leave them facing an uphill battle.

Ghanaians will be hoping Addo’s words become reality as the Black Stars seek to revive their qualifying campaign.

The stage is set for an intense match on the 16th of October in Libya.
