A Nigerian medical student, known as Ikem, has reportedly been brutally murdered by a group of Chinese individuals in the Philippines. The shocking incident was revealed by the deceased’s friend, Michael Ojuola, in a post shared via X on Sunday, October 22, 2023.

Ojuola described the gruesome details, stating that Ikem, studying in the Republic of the Philippines, had his hands tied, mouth covered, and was severely beaten until he succumbed to the assault. Ojuola emphasized the need for justice and urged that this incident should not be overlooked, irrespective of the diplomatic relationship between the Philippines and China
